In 2016, Marlon ran for office because the residents of Tamarac felt ignored and wanted their voice to be heard at City Hall. They were angry and frustrated with the lack of accurate representation—so he decided to do something about it. He launched his campaign, built a grassroots movement from the ground up, and won the election. On the Tamarac Commission, he stood up for Tamarac residents and fought to protect the city's Children, Working Families and Seniors. He defended Tax Payers by advocating for and overseeing budget cuts. He led his community through some of the most difficult times, including hurricanes, water crisis and the recent Coronavirus pandemic. Marlon stayed visible throughout his term and provided support to residents when they needed him. Now, Marlon is seeking re-election to continue the work he started. Marlon is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County Court Mediator.

Elvin Villalobos is a business owner in Tamarac and has served his community well. Elvin currently serves as the Homeowner’s Association Vice President for the Westwood 3 Homeowner Association. Dr. Regina Martin is a Pastor and Business Woman for almost 20 years combined. As a resident of the City of North Lauderdale, Regina has served her City through volunteerism; spearheading feeding programs and mentoring the young.
